MRZ check sum validation failed.

My passport is a Nigerian passport.

I use a Samsung s23 ultra

Error says MRZ checksum validation failed. I entered details manually, after scanning successfully, it then says “our certificate registry does not support this ID”

Help pls

    This error means we do not have the necessary information to verify the authenticity of your passport. In the case of Nigeria, we are missing the necessary certificate for passports issued between May 17, 2020, and July 25, 2024.

    We are currently trying to contact the relevant authorities to get the missing certificates, but it’s a slow process
