I am having the same issue on android, also german ID card. Since there is no other form of identification on Immunify, this is extremely frustrating. Also: Their technical support can’t do something and send me here… looks like I can forget about it!

Im having the same issue on Android, Spanish Passport.
This is very serious, because we entrusted our identity to a supposedly trustworthy company. And now? Eight days without a response or anything. This is very serious.

Hi! The MRZ scan for German ID cards works fine for most, but in your case, it might be that some characters have been misread. We’re planning on improving this in the future to decrease the rate of wrong readings.
In the meantime, when you go through the manual process, make sure to input the document number at the top right (as the one at the bottom right is not the document number but something else).
The location on the front of the document number varies from country to country, and there can be multiple numbers, but only one is used in this context. Also, make sure to input the birthdate and expiry date correctly.

It doesn’t work even after entering MRZ manually. NFC Chip scan always fail.
