Unable to verify my identity via nfc

My indian passport is 1.1 year old it doesnt support nfc , only available for new passports , there is no back option its asking both to scan id and nfc . No way to exit, wtf is this always sucks to be a customer to use a web3 product. Web3 sucks in developing apps , better hire a andriod dev than giving a gig to vibe coder or useless devrel

I am a security researcher trying to submit a Critical Vulnerability, but I am currently blocked by the ZK Passport KYC process due to a hardware limitation. The Issue: The ZK Passport app requires an NFC scan of a passport or ID card. Passport: My valid passport is an older version that does not have an NFC chip. National ID: My Indian Aadhaar card does not support NFC scanning. Impact: I am physically unable to complete the verification flow on the mobile app because my valid government documents do not have the required chips. Request: Please allow me to verify using an alternative method (such as manual document upload or a standard video KYC provider like SumSub) that does not require NFC. I have my documents ready to upload immediately.

NFC chip scan not working

I’m trying to scan for nfc chip but after scanning for more than 10-15 mins app is not fetching anything. I passed the MZ number thing step but scan chip is not happening.

Make it clear where to scan on a passport

I have run into issues where for my passport it is not clear where exactly to scan. Could you make a feature where it tells me for the passport I am using, once i scan the MRZ where my chip is?

Hello! I am a developer and I am trying to get an onchain verification flow working. When generating the proof, the App gets to 89% (compressing proof …) before crashing back to the confirm page. Then, I get the following two error messages in quick succession: then I have tried: clearing the cache latest versions of sdk and app I understand this is an error on the backend? Has there been progress on a fix? How can I track the progress myself? Thank you!

The app says my passport is genuine, but how does it know that its genuine?

MRZ check sum validation failed.

My passport is a Nigerian passport. I use a Samsung s23 ultra Error says MRZ checksum validation failed. I entered details manually, after scanning successfully, it then says “our certificate registry does not support this ID” Help pls

Started app, scanned MRZ, showed failed to scan id before i even got to scanning the id

Confirm page reloops

Tested with 3 different users today, passport from Norway, passport from Thailand, and a National ID from Ghana. All three ran into the same issue: 1. They scan their ID alright. 2. They try to connect to a frontend via a QR code 3. They get asked to confirm connection 4. Once confirmed, loading page spins up a little. Still trying to connect to the frontend 5. After about 10s, they see the same confirm page. They never actually connect to the frontend. All three had iPhones. I tried immediately with an Android user afterwards and they were able to connect to the frontend (but their proof generation failed).

Separate Nationality from Country from which ID was issued

I am a UK national. I scanned a Paraguay ID (which has my UK nationality listed). The ZK passport profile of the scanned ID shows my UK nationality but does not have a separate category for the origin of the ID, ideally it should look something like this: Paraguay ID; UK National This differentiation could be important to prove someone lives in the country of the ID origin.
